Block 108 (2018), Series of three paintings, 1 photographic print and 1 printed article, acrylic on cold-pressed watercolour paper, inkjet print, 30.5 x 22.9 cm (series of 5, framed).
Block 108 is a series of paintings that revolves around questions about the use of public space in Singapore and our attitude towards it. The painted scenes are from a place where opposition political veteran Mr Chiam See Tong conducted his weekly Meet-the-People sessions for 27 years as the member of parliament for the town of Potong Pasir.
