Long Decay by Jason Lim explored resonance, duration, and material transformation through ceramics, installation, drawing, and performance. The exhibition reflected on processes of fragility, repetition, and slow change, where clay, sound, and gesture became carriers of memory and embodied experience.
Drawing from earlier works such as Three Tonnes of Clay (1995), i wrote the curatorial essay where I explored how the exhibition considered decay not as disappearance, but as an ongoing process of accumulation, rupture, and renewal.
